How to treat hemorrhoids after childbirth?

  • Avoid sitting or standing for too long, whether watching TV, cooking or other activities. This can put excessive pressure on the problematic area and make it difficult for hemorrhoids to heal or even worsen.
  • Maintain cleanliness and humidity of the area around the rectum. Use mild chemical soap or tissue that does not contain fragrance.
  • Apply a healthy diet to avoid constipation, such as eating lots of foods high in fiber and drinking lots of water.
  • Immediately go to the toilet if you feel the urge to defecate (BAB). Don't delay CHAPTER. The longer you hold it, the stool texture will become drier and harder. Stool conditions like that can make you have to push hard to remove it.

Hemorrhoids usually disappear within about 1-2 weeks. During the healing process, discomfort arising from this condition will still be felt. Now, to ease it, you can do the following methods:
  • Compress the hemorrhoid area with ice wrapped in cloth for at least 10 minutes every day.
  • Soak the hemorrhoid area with warm water for 10-15 minutes at least 2-3 times a day.
  • Ask your doctor to prescribe a hemorrhoids gel or ointment that suits your skin condition.
If some of the above methods have been done but hemorrhoids after childbirth does not get better or even worse, you should immediately consult a doctor to get further treatment.
